Observation Room

Hogar Corazón de Jesús has two observation rooms, one for elderly women and one for elderly men, where medical emergencies of the residents are attended to. The area is managed by an attending physician, several nursing assistants, and a nurse, who are responsible for providing patients with the necessary care during medical emergencies.

The rooms are equipped with ultrasound machines, electrocardiograms, oxygen tanks, etc., and other equipment necessary to provide first aid to patients who need it.

Patients can remain in the Observation Room until they are stabilized. If they require specialized care, they are transferred to the hospital of their choice, and in many cases to the Luis Vernaza Hospital.
