Admission Requirements

To ensure the protection of the elderly resident at Hogar del Corazón de Jesús and guarantee a better quality of life, the following requirements, documents, and procedures are mandatory for admission:

  • Be at least 65 years old
  • Willingness of the interested party to enter
  • Not suffer from infectious diseases.
  • Copy of the applicant’s and the two responsible parties’ identity card.
  • Copy of the pension payroll if retired; otherwise, a validation certificate stating that the future resident does not have any type of insurance or other benefit from the State.
  • Work certificate of the responsible parties in case of employment, or if they are independent, request a document that proves it; if they are beneficiaries of the IESS, attach pension payroll.
  • Basic service bill of the responsible parties and sketch of the address
  • Vaccination certificate/card against COVID 19.
  • The Elderly and their family will come to the Home to see our facilities
  • The Elderly will voluntarily agree to start the admission process.
  • Family members will send the documents and clinical analysis results that rule out infectious diseases.
  • Assessments will be carried out on the applicant in the Home with the following areas: Social Work, Gerontology, Medicine, Psychology and Physical Therapy.
  • At least two family members will sign the housing agreement.
  • Initial payments will be made.
  • The start date of the stay in the Home will be informed

ALL AMOUNTS FOR PENSION AND MEDICATION FEES MUST BE PAID ONLY AT THE HOME'S CASHIER.
